Installing Windows OS Template on Hardware Node

After the Windows OS template is registered on the Management Node, you should install it on the relevant Hardware Node which is similar to template synchronization and results in adding the record in the Parallels Business Automation - Standard database that the Virtuozzo Windows OS template exists on a particular Hardware Node.

To register the Windows OS template on a Hardware Node:

  1. Go to Service Director - Virtuozzo Manager - Nodes - <Node>.
  2. Click OS Templates. The list of all OS templates installed on the Hardware Node appears on the screen.
  3. Click on the Import OS Templates From Node button and confirm your action on the dialogue screen.
  4. Click Refresh at the top of the page to update the system information. Now you will be able to create Hosting Plans that use this OS template for Container creation and with provisioning this Container on the Hardware Node you have registered the OS template for.

Note: You can only import OS templates for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Windows versions no older than the 3.5 release.

At a new Hardware Node registration in Parallels Business Automation - Standard the list of all the compatible templates appears in the OS templates list under the OS Templates tab. To register the OS templates on this Hardware Node you have to synchronization state of the templates by clicking on the Synchronize button.
